Pampered by Ruthless CEO
Chapter 1

"Trust me! I will take responsibility for you. I'm going to make you the happiest, most honored woman in the world!" The man's deep, resolute voice echoed in her ear. Chloe shook her head frantically. "No, no... Ah!" The man surged forward with sudden force. Chloe let out a painful cry before blacking out entirely. When she opened her eyes again, the man was already gone. Yet the heavy, intimate scent hanging in the air remained as proof of what had happened. Wadded-up tissues and discarded clothes lay scattered across the floor, painting a stark picture of the madness that had unfolded just hours before. Chloe bit her lip until it nearly bled, gripping the bedsheets tightly as her vision blurred with tears. She was a married woman. She had come to the airport today specifically to pick up her husband. But before she could even see his face, she had lost her purity. What was this? An extramarital affair? How was she supposed to go on after this? How could she ever face her husband again? If she told him the truth-that she came to welcome him home, only for a sudden riot to break out at the terminal, where a strange man dragged her into a pitch-black lounge and committed such an unforgivable act... Would he believe her? Would he still accept her? Could their marriage survive this? Unable to hold it in any longer, Chloe burst into tears, the droplets falling uncontrollably. She didn't know what atrocious sin she had committed in a past life to deserve a fate like this. She had grown up without a mother or father's love, her life a complete mess from the start. She had fought tooth and nail through her studies to change her destiny, finally getting accepted into her dream university. But then her adoptive parents forced her to drop out and marry. The bride was supposed to be her step-sister, Tiffany Bishop. But when the family discovered the groom was a cripple, they swapped the brides! Her adoptive parents couldn't bear to let their biological daughter suffer, yet they couldn't bring themselves to turn down the hefty bride price. So, using the "debt of raising her" as emotional blackmail, they forced Chloe to take her sister's place. From pulling her out of college to setting up the engagement and wedding, not a single person had bothered to ask for her consent. No one cared about what she wanted. With absolute authority, they had ruined her education and destroyed her future. She had cried and resented them, but in the end, she compromised with reality. They always said marriage was a second chance at life for a woman. If marrying meant escaping that cold, unfeeling household, then so be it-she promised herself she would be a dutiful wife. For the past two years, Liam had been abroad seeking medical treatment for his legs. She had guarded an empty house alone, remaining faithful, honest, and completely devoted. This marriage was bought at the cost of her higher education and her future. It was her new beginning, and she cherished it with all her heart. And now... On the very day Liam was due to return, this nightmare had happened. What was she supposed to do? Ring, ring, ring... Her phone suddenly rang. It was the housekeeper from the estate. "Madam, Sir is asking for you to return home immediately." Chloe's heart dropped into her stomach, a surge of guilt and panic seizing her chest. "Is... has he already come back?" "Yes, Madam. Sir returned, but when he saw you weren't home, he left right away. Before leaving, he asked me to tell you to come back and sign the papers. Sir... he wants a divorce." BOOM! Chloe's brain went completely numb. Liam wanted a divorce?! She knew he had been dissatisfied with their arranged marriage. On their wedding day, he hadn't even shown up, and he had remained absent ever since. In two years of marriage, they had never met in person. They didn't even know what the other looked like. Yet over those two years, he had treated her well! He had never deprived her of food, clothes, or money. Whenever she fell sick, he would instruct the servants to take extra care of her. Even across thousands of miles, she had felt his quiet consideration. She had always believed Liam simply disliked business-arranged marriages, not her as a person. She believed that as long as she remained a good wife, they could grow into a loving couple who supported each other for the rest of their lives. She never expected... "Madam, you don't need to be too heartbroken," the housekeeper added excitedly. "Sir is leaving this villa to you, along with two luxury cars and a massive fortune!" The housekeeper sounded thrilled, but how could Chloe not be heartbroken? She was practically dying inside. Her miserable life was spiraling into an irredeemable mess. Yet what right did she have to refuse a divorce now? She had lost her purity. She was no longer worthy of him. Sniffling through her tears, Chloe choked out in a raspy voice, "I understand. I'll be right back to sign the papers." Hanging up, she forced her aching body up, dressed herself, and stumbled out of the airport lounge. Just moments after she vanished around the corner, dozens of black luxury sedans pulled up outside the airport terminal. A squad of bodyguards in black suits stepped out simultaneously, locking down the entire perimeter. An assistant respectfully opened the rear car door, and Liam stepped out. Handcrafted custom leather shoes, an insanely expensive bespoke suit, a limited-edition timepiece... the standard attire of an untouchable titan. Tall and broad-shouldered with razor-sharp facial features, he radiated a powerful, dominant authority straight from his core that sent chills down everyone's spine. Passersby stared in awe and curiosity, peeking at him with hushed breath. Ignoring everyone around him, Liam strided directly toward the VIP lounge. Last night, someone had drugged him in an assassination attempt. In a moment of desperation, he had taken a woman's innocence. Fearing his pursuers would trace him to the lounge and put her in danger, he had left first to clean up the threat before returning for her. That had been her first time. He had given her his word last night: he would take full responsibility and make her the happiest, most honored woman in the world! And Liam always kept his word. Before he could reach the lounge door, his assistant, Zach, jogged up to keep pace with him. "Boss, the estate just called. Madam has returned home. However... it seems Madam was with another man last night. The marks on her body were very obvious. According to the housekeeper, Madam has been seeing multiple men over the past two years and frequently stays out all night... "Furthermore, when Madam gets drunk, she tends to run her mouth. She once boasted publicly at a bar that... that you're a cripple who isn't worthy of her. She said that marrying her was just..." "Was just what?!" "...Was just a toad craving a taste of swan meat." "Heh." Liam pressed his thin lips into a cold, ruthless line, his complexion turning icy. That wife of his was forcibly shoved onto him by the Martin family two years ago to suppress his power. He had never met her once, skipping the wedding entirely. Now that his power was consolidated and he held absolute control, he no longer needed to be bound by their chains. The very first thing he intended to do upon returning was to divorce her. It wasn't that he was heartless; there was simply zero affection between them. Divorce was a blessing and a release for her. To compensate for two years of her youth, he had prepared an enormous payout-a mansion, luxury cars, and a check for one billion Dollars. He never imagined she would be such a shameless, gold-digging woman! In that case, she didn't deserve a single penny of his generosity. "Scrap the previous divorce agreement and draft a new one!" Liam sneered. "She cheated during our marriage and failed her duties as a wife. Strip her of everything-she leaves with nothing!" "Yes, sir!" Reaching the VIP lounge door, Liam forced his anger down and straightened his collar, opening the door with his calmest, most dignified demeanor. One life, one love-now that he had touched her, she was the only woman he would ever want for the rest of his life. However- The room was completely empty. She was gone? Liam swept through the entire airport terminal, but found no trace of her. His brows furrowed into a deep scowl. "Send out the order! No matter what method it takes or what price we must pay-find her!" He would find her and honor his promise! He would make her the happiest, most honored woman in the world!

Chapter 2

Six years later, Penn Station. The moment Chloe stepped out of the station exit with her three sons, they instantly drew a massive wave of attention. The mother was dressed casually and comfortably, completely makeup-free, yet she was strikingly gorgeous-every subtle smile naturally captivated anyone who glanced her way. Beside her, the three little boys were irresistibly adorable. Their big, round eyes glistened above their face masks like liquid crystal, long eyelashes fluttering with every blink. They were so unbelievably cute they practically melted the hearts of everyone passing by. It was another one of those "reasons to have kids" moments in real life! Chloe paid no mind to the crowd's admiring gazes. Standing at the exit, she looked at the familiar yet somewhat foreign surroundings, overwhelmed with emotion. Six years ago, Liam's single accusation of her being "unfaithful" had thrown her into a storm of public outrage. A month later, when she discovered she was pregnant, it only seemed to validate his claims. The venomous gossip almost drowned her alive. Her adoptive parents, thoroughly humiliated by the scandal and seeing no remaining leverage in her, cut ties completely and kicked her out of the house. She knew the children belonged to that mysterious man from that night. She had considered getting an abortion, but after thinking long and hard, she couldn't bring herself to do it. They were her flesh and blood! It was fate that they had chosen her as their mother. No matter how tough life got, she was determined to bring them into the world and raise them. Fearing her ruined reputation would tarnish her children's futures, she fled NYC to live in the quiet countryside. Life as a single pregnant woman was brutally hard. Finding a job was her first major hurdle-most employers refused to hire a woman who was visibly expecting. Yet she couldn't afford not to work. She needed money. She needed to eat, pay for hospital bills, save for formula, set aside money for their future schooling... Eventually, she managed to land a job at a local restaurant. Terrified of getting fired, she worked harder than anyone else, refusing to take a single day off. This relentless pace ultimately led to severe malnutrition and extreme exhaustion. When she was nine months pregnant, her body gave out, and she collapsed on her walk home from work. Strangely enough, when she woke up again, she and her newborn babies were deep in the mountains. To this day, she still had no idea what had happened. Who had performed her C-section? Who had transported her and her babies into the mountains? And why had they sent mother and children deep into the wilderness? Their savior claimed he had found them by pure chance. Taking pity on their dire state, he had brought them back to his home. And that home became theirs for five whole years! Those five years were lighthearted, happy, and peaceful-completely carefree. However, as the boys grew bigger by the day, she had to face the reality of their education and future. The mountain life was wonderful, but apart from their savior, there was no one else around. When he passed away one day, the boys would be left completely isolated... Her children had worked hard to come into this world; they shouldn't spend their entire lives in obscurity without ever seeing what lay beyond. They deserved to experience the brightness and wonder of the world. So, after much deliberation, she bade farewell to their savior and led her boys down the mountain. She hadn't originally wanted to return to NYC-the trauma from six years ago still lingered in her mind. Who could have guessed that when she tried to register her kids' household status, she would discover she was still legally married?! She had been totally dumbfounded! She clearly remembered signing the divorce papers back then! Before she could piece together what had gone wrong, a bigger problem arose: because she was legally married, registering the children's household status meant Liam's name would automatically fill the "Father" column. The Martin family was an elite empire, and Liam hated her-he would never accept being a surprise baby daddy to someone else's kids! Which meant before she could properly register her boys, she had to settle the divorce first. Her return to NYC was strictly to find Liam and sign those papers for good. As for Liam himself, she bore him no grudge. She was the one who had wronged him first back then. When he called her unfaithful, he hadn't been wrong. If she held a grudge against anyone, it was that wild stranger from that night who had stolen her purity! They always said a man's word was as reliable as a ghost story, and it was the absolute truth. That night, that mystery man had promised to make her the happiest, most honored woman in the world. And what was the result? Ha! He had completely ruined her life! Just thinking about everything she had suffered made her want to beat him to a pulp! "Mommy, I need to pee," Little Samuel suddenly pulled at her clothes, speaking up shyly. Chloe snapped back to reality. Gazing down at her three boys, her heart instantly melted with warmth. While that night six years ago had turned her life into a chaotic mess, gaining these three precious boys made everything worth it! Her three sons were her absolute pride and joy. Daniel was a little gentleman. He didn't speak much on a daily basis, but he exuded a powerful eldest-brother aura. With an exceptionally high IQ and EQ, every word and action carried the weight of a young patriarch. Ethan was the exact opposite of Daniel-lively, hyperactive, and mischievous to a fault. His interest: fighting! His hobby: fighting! His dream: fighting! His ultimate dream in life: to challenge the toughest opponent and reign supreme as the undisputed champion of the world! As for Samuel... he was a little crybaby. Born timid and lacking the sky-high IQ of his two older brothers, he was nevertheless a sweet, caring soul. Exceptionally attentive, he could already cook delicious meals at a tiny age. On top of that, he was a natural fashion genius-even the perfume Chloe currently wore was personally blended by Little Samuel. Give him a few pieces of fruit or a bouquet of flowers, and he could craft a completely unique, one-of-a-kind fragrance. No artificial additives or heavy chemicals-just a clean, natural hint of floral and fruity notes. And that wasn't all! Samuel also possessed an incredible talent for design, casually drafting clothing and jewelry concepts with effortless grace. Chloe had thought more than once that whoever ended up marrying her Little Samuel in the future would be the luckiest person alive. Chloe looked at Little Samuel with a gentle, affectionate smile. "Alright, Mommy will take you. Daniel, Ethan, do you two need to use the restroom?" Daniel and Ethan shook their heads in sync, answering in unison, "Nope!" "Then you two wait right here for Mommy and your brother. Don't wander off-I'll take Samuel inside." "Okay!" Chloe held Little Samuel's hand as they walked toward the restrooms. Arriving at the entrance, she squatted down to remind him: "Samuel, you go into the men's room, and Mommy will go into the women's room. If you finish first, just stand right here and wait for Mommy, okay?" "Mm-hmm!" Little Samuel nodded obediently, pumping his short little legs as he scampered into the men's room. Chloe smiled at his retreating figure before turning into the ladies' room. It wasn't long before Little Samuel came out. True to his word, he didn't wander around, standing right outside the restroom to wait for his mother. Suddenly, a group of suit-clad bodyguards marched over, escorting a glamorously dressed woman. Wearing oversized sunglasses and bold red lipstick, the woman was yelling angrily at the people around her: "Don't ever take low-budget scripts like that again! Filming out in the middle of nowhere is such a hassle! There aren't even direct flights back, forcing me to take a train! Is a train ride suitable for someone of my status? Just look at the people riding this thing-every single one of them is cheap, trashy, and repulsive!" Jessica's shrill voice was quite loud, causing passersby to frown in distaste. Her manager nodded frantically to appease her while the bodyguards aggressively cleared a path through the crowd. "Out of the way! Out of the way! Move back!" Little Samuel was caught completely off guard. Before he could even step aside, he was shoved hard. He landed flat on his bottom with a heavy thud. The sharp pain brought tears welling up in his eyes, but he was too scared to make a sound. "Whose kid is this? Get out of the way!" Jessica snapped coldly. Terrified by the intimidating crowd, Little Samuel sat on the floor with his mouth pouted, gazing up at Jessica through a blur of tears, too frightened to move. Jessica scowled. Looking at Little Samuel instantly reminded her of a thorn stuck in her side-a thorn the exact same age as this brat. A surge of malice burned through her. "I told you to get out of the way! Don't you know it's wrong to block people's path?!" Jessica spat maliciously. "How do your parents even raise you? Absolutely zero manners and upbringing!" With that, Jessica delivered a sharp kick with the tip of her high heel before strutting off on her stilettos. Little Samuel burst into loud wails. "Mommy... Big Bro... it hurts! Waaaaah..." Before Chloe could exit the restroom, Daniel and Ethan rushed over at the sound of his cries. Seeing him on the floor, they immediately crowded around him. "What happened, Samuel? What's wrong?!" Seeing his brothers, Little Samuel cried even harder, his small shoulders trembling as he sobbed out disjointed words: "That... that auntie kicked... kicked me... Big Bro, it hurts... waaaah..." Hearing this, Ethan instantly blew a fuse. Bullying his little brother?! Did she think he was dead?! "Daniel, watch Samuel! I'm gonna go settle the score!" Without another word, Ethan sprinted off, vanishing into the surging crowd within seconds.

Chapter 3

Before Daniel could stop him, he had no choice but to gently help Little Samuel up, his face full of heartache. "Tell Big Bro, where does it hurt?" "Here... and here," Little Samuel whimpered, pointing to his bottom and his little leg. Daniel rolled up Samuel's pant leg to take a look, freezing in shock. A huge, angry bruise had already bloomed across Samuel's pale, tender calf. The deep purple mark stood out horrifyingly! Daniel clenched his small fists, a sudden inferno of rage igniting in his heart. He hadn't wanted his second brother to run off and cause trouble, but now? Not only was he not going to stop him, he was going to fully encourage it! To dare bully Samuel like this-did she think Samuel had no one to back him up?! "It's okay, Samuel. Big Bro will blow on it. It won't hurt after a blow." Samuel nodded piteously. "...Mm." Meanwhile, Ethan had already chased Jessica all the way out of the station. Seeing her about to step into a car, he charged straight over and blocked her path, looking aggressively fierce in an adorable way. "Ugly woman! Who gave you the nerve to bully my little brother?!" Ugly woman?! Jessica's delicate eyebrows twitched violently as she glared down at Ethan. She wanted nothing more than to slap him into next week! However, knowing Liam was sitting inside the luxury car, she had to maintain her sweet persona and project the image of a child-loving woman in front of him. Suppressing her rage, she glared at Ethan through narrowed eyes, lowering her voice to a harsh whisper: "Who are you calling ugly?!" "I'm calling you ugly! Not only are you ugly, you're old! And you're evil! Ugly, old, and evil-you're completely beyond saving!" Before she could react, Ethan pulled a small penknife out of his pocket and began circling the luxury sedan. Watching deep, painful scratches carve across the polished paint, Jessica's eyes nearly popped out of her head. "You little brat, stop right now! Do you even know whose car this is?! How dare you scratch it-are you insane?!" Jessica lunged forward to grab him, but Ethan easily dodged. She chased, he ran. Ethan led her in circles around the flagship vehicle with effortless agility, walking her around like a monkey on a leash. Sitting in the backseat, Liam-who had come specifically to pick up Jessica-frowned at the commotion. He glanced at Zach. "Go down and check." "Yes, sir." Zach reached for the door handle, but right at that moment- BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! Four deafening explosions shattered the air, and the entire luxury sedan violently dropped with a heavy, metallic CLUNK! "AAAAAHHH-!" Jessica's blood-curdling scream pierced through the sky. Liam's brow furrowed tightly as he pushed open the car door and stepped out. Taking in the chaotic scene before him, his expression turned utterly grim. All four tires had completely separated from the vehicle's frame, belching thick plumes of black smoke as they rolled away in different directions. The multi-million-dollar luxury car now slumped on the asphalt like a dead dog, entirely stripped of its former glory! Standing right in front of the hysterical Jessica was a masked toddler who didn't even reach Liam's waist, swaggering arrogantly: "Since I just got here today, I'll let you off easy this time! But if you ever dare bully my brother again, I won't be so nice! Ugly! Old! Evil! Hmph!" Liam stood in silence. Calling himself "this heir" at such a tiny age? Who gave him that kind of audacity? And he called this letting her off easy?! If this kid was being serious, just how much destruction could he unleash? Whose brat was this to be so wildly defiant and destructive?! Unaware that he had just crossed an absolute titan, the little guy finished warning Jessica, puffed out his chest, and turned on his heel to strut away. Suddenly, a massive hand grabbed him by the back of his collar, lifting his feet clean off the ground. Ethan's eyebrows snapped together as he kicked his little legs frantically in mid-air. "Who is it?! Let go of this heir right now!" Liam's face was dark as a thundercloud. He spun Ethan around in the air so the boy was facing him directly. "Whose 'heir' are you?" His tone was neither hurried nor loud, yet it carried an icy, suffocating pressure. "I'm..." Masked Ethan started to snap back, but the moment he caught sight of the man's face, he froze! Whoa, whoa, whoa... why does this big uncle look so much like him and Big Bro?! He looked like a scaled-up, full-sized version of them! Could it be that this guy was their deadbeat dad-the one who contributed a seed and never took responsibility?! Wait, isn't their deadbeat dad dead? Mommy had explicitly said their dad had terrible luck and passed away from a severe illness at a young age. It must just be a coincidence! They just happen to look alike! Reassuring himself, Ethan fluttered his long eyelashes and puffed his chest back up, saying arrogantly: "Seeing as you look somewhat like my dead dad, I'll spare your life this time! Put me down right now, or else I won't be polite! I'm telling you, when I get angry, it's terrifying!" To prove his point, he made a silly, menacing "RAWR!" face at Liam. The aura between Liam's brows grew even colder and sharper. Small age, huge mouth! If it weren't for the fact that the boy's exposed eyes above the mask looked almost identical to his own son, Leo-making his heart soften just a fraction-he would have called the police on the spot! "Do you have any idea that your actions today broke the law?" "That ugly, old, evil woman started it!" Jessica, who was suddenly thrown under the bus again, fumed inwardly. Who's old?! Who's ugly?! Who's evil?! AAAAAHHHHHH-! Liam's voice remained cool and stern. "Regardless of the reason, what you did was wrong." Ethan crossed his arms and huffed. "You're not my dad, so why do you get to lecture me? Who are you anyway?" Liam's eyes darkened with displeasure. "Where are your parents?" He wouldn't hold a toddler fully accountable, but there was no way he was letting the kid's parents off the hook. This car was brand-new-a fifty-million-dollar custom model-and it had been completely scrapped on its very first drive out. He needed a proper explanation. Moreover... those four smoking wheels looked as though they had been blown off using precision-engineered micro-explosives. Could a five-year-old child really handle high-grade explosives? Or was someone using a child as a puppet to target him? For safety's sake, he had to get to the bottom of this. Hearing that the man wanted to call his parents, Ethan felt a tiny prick of panic. All troublesome kids shared one universal trait: they were terrified of their parents being summoned! Ethan was no exception. Fearless as he was-willing to call the King of Hell "bro" to his face-he was utterly terrified of his mommy! His mommy never raised a hand against them, so he wasn't afraid of a spanking. He was afraid of making her sad or worried. Losing his previous bravado, Ethan pouted slightly and muttered: "If you want to find a parent, go find my dad. My mommy is very busy and doesn't have time to see you." Liam withdrew his gaze. Coincidentally, he didn't like dealing with women either. "Where is your father?" "My dad? He's in Hell-the eighteenth floor of Hell, to be exact. Why don't you head down there and look for him yourself?" Liam remained silent. Jessica seized the opportunity to chime in maliciously: "This brat is completely uneducated and ill-mannered! Liam, he's cursing you to go to Hell! Look at his shabby clothes-he's clearly a nuisance raised by trashy, poor people. Uncultured hicks produce malicious thugs!" "HA! I'm uneducated? What about you?!" Ethan snapped back furiously. "You're practically an old grandma, yet you bullied a five-year-old kid! How did your mom raise you?!" An old grandma?! Jessica almost fainted from sheer rage. "I am only twenty-eight this year!" "Huh? Really? I couldn't tell at all! I thought you were eighty-eight!" "You..." "Shut your mouth! If you mess with me again, I'll educate you on behalf of your parents!" Before Ethan could continue roasting her, his smartwatch suddenly chimed. It was a call from his precious mommy. She must have come out of the restroom, missed him, and gotten worried. Ethan couldn't bear to let his beloved mommy worry for even a second. He looked up at Liam: "This heir has important business to attend to. I won't play with you guys anymore-bye-bye!" With a sudden, nimble twist of his small legs and a flick of his arms, Ethan slipped out of his oversized jacket like a cicada shedding its skin! "Consider the jacket a gift! No need to thank me!" The little guy yelled as he took off like a bullet, his tiny figure disappearing into the surging crowd within seconds. Liam stared at the empty jacket dangling from his hand, his face darkening to an alarming shade of icy rage. "Investigate that child's identity immediately and bring his parents to me! Also, have the bomb disposal team examine those four tires to see how they exploded!" "Yes, sir!" Zach immediately gestured for the bodyguards to move into the terminal. Liam turned his gaze toward Jessica, his tone laced with heavy displeasure. "Why did he say you bullied his brother?" Jessica instantly switched to a pathetic, innocent expression, tearing up slightly: "How could I possibly bully a child? His brother saw that I looked wealthy and deliberately tried to stage a fake accident to scam me for money! If you don't believe me, ask my manager! "That child learned to lie at such a young age-it's clear his parents aren't decent people. Uncultured hicks produce malicious thugs. With a child like that, his parents can't be any better! If you ask me, don't even bother meeting his parents. Throw their whole family straight into prison for life to teach them a lesson!" Liam gave her a cold, unreadable glare, his eyes filled with undisguised distaste as he ignored her completely.
